P.E.I. Rocket News Release
Friday night's PEI Rocket game will have special significance as the team honors Ben Duffy for holding multiple franchise records. During the last Rocket home game, Duffy broke the all-time leading career goals record to go with the franchise assists, points and consecutive games played records that he already held.
In honor of Duffy's accomplishments, Ben Duffy Night will include a pre-game ceremony, special Ben Duffy prize draws throughout the evening and live entertainment (Kim Albert) during the intermissions and post game in the lounge. Rocket President, Serge Savard Jr, says, "Ben Duffy is obviously a very special player for our franchise. It is not common for a player to own franchise records for goals, assists, points and consecutive games played. We are very proud of his accomplishments and so appreciative of what he has done, and continues to do, for us."
Game time is 7 o'clock against the Moncton Wildcats. The Rocket have won two of three meetings against the Wildcats this season and they have won nine of the last ten meetings overall.
