Salt Lake Bees News Release
SALT LAKE CITY (February 6, 2009) - The Salt Lake Bees, in conjunction with Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), announced today the launch of a new and improved team website. Offering the same features as the previous site, www.slbees.com now includes a more user-friendly layout, an updated look and expanded content. The interactive capabilities of the site will allow fans close-up access to the team through video and audio features while also making statistical and other team information more accessible.
"Now our website is truly the one-stop shop for everything you could hope to know about the Bees," said Bees General Manager Marc Amicone. "The fresh design and increased functionality of this new website is a continuation of our efforts to better the Bees' fan experience."
Also featured on the site are the team's official online store, up-to-date ticket information and community outreach efforts. The latest club news and the Bees schedule for the upcoming season are also available. In addition, Bees Wax, the official blog of the Salt Lake Bees, will make a return for the 2009 season.
MLBAM currently hosts 139 minor league baseball team websites (27 Triple-A team sites and 14 Pacific Coast League team sites).
