Worcester, MA - The Worcester Bravehearts fell to the New Britain Bees 7-2 Friday night at Fitton Field.

The 'Hearts fall to 13-6 with the loss while New Britain moves up to 12-8.

Worcester jumped on top in the bottom of the third when Christian Limón (Amherst College) scored on a New Britain error.

Neither team scored again until the Bees rallied in the top of the seventh. Brito-Trinidad later scored on an RBI double by Tanner Santos (Babson).

The Bravehearts cut the deficit to 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh thanks to a Tyler Bastunas (Drury) sacrifice fly that scored Kobe Stenson (Siena).

New Britain, however, answered in the top of the eighth. Ryan Taylor (Penn) scored on a Forgione double, after which Gavin Greger (UConn) crossed the plate on a wild pitch to give the Bees a 5-2 lead.

The Bees tacked on two more runs in the ninth to take a 7-2 lead they did not relinquish.
