Bears announce 2005 exhibition schedule

HERSHEY - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today the club's three-game exhibition schedule in preparation for the upcoming 2005-06 season. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
The BEARS will open exhibition play on Saturday, September 24 at GIANT Center vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:00 p.m. HERSHEY will then travel to face the Penguins on Sunday, September 25 at 5:05 p.m. at Wachovia Arena before hosting the Norfolk Admirals at GIANT Center for the final preseason tune-up on Sunday, October 2. Game time on Sunday, October 2 will be 7:00 p.m.
Tickets for the exhibition games will go on sale on Monday, August 29 at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 534-3911. All seats for both exhibition games at GIANT Center are $7, with a $5 ticket available for groups of 15 or more. HERSHEY'S group ticket number is (717) 534-3354.
The BEARS open the home portion of the 2005-06 regular season on Sunday, October 9 against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 5:00 p.m. HERSHEY will also play October home games on Saturday, October 15 vs. Norfolk, Saturday, October 22 vs. Hartford and Sunday, October 23 vs. Binghamton.
