
Beacons Make A Deal With The \'Dogs

PORT HURON, MI- The Port Huron Beacons of the United Hockey League (UHL) are proud to announce that a trade was made today for a rookie forward.
Kyle Sheen, Right Wing, started his 2004-05 season with the Kalamazoo Wings playing in seven games before being dealt to the RiverDogs on November 22. In exchange for Kyle Sheen the Beacons sent defenseman Ivan Curic to the âDogs. Curics' 125 PIM's was good for second on the Beacons roster this season.
During his time with both the Wings and RiverDogs, Sheen compiled 13 points including six goals and 169 PIM's in 47 games played.
This is Sheens first full season in the UHL and his first taste of professional hockey after spending the past five in the WHL with the Kootenay Ice and Kamloops Blazers. His best season to date was in the 2000-01 season when he tallied 10 goals, 20 assists for 30 points and 199 PIM's in 72 games.
