
UHL levies suspensions
February 24, 2005 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2) News Release
LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO -United Hockey League (UHL) Vice President of Hockey Operations Brad Jones announced today the following suspensions resulting from UHL Game #401, Adirondack @ Danbury, Wednesday, February 23, 2005.
Danbury head coach Todd Stirling is being issued a three (3) game suspension under Rule 33A as a result of the actions of his team. Mr. Stirling's suspension will commence with UHL Game #405 versus Elmira on Friday, February 25, 2005 and shall continue through UHL Game #419 versus Adirondack on Sunday, February 27, 2005. Mr. Stirling may resume coaching beginning with UHL Game #426 versus Fort Wayne on Wednesday, March 2, 2005.
Danbury right wing Chad Wagner (under Rule 72b and 72c), forward Gerry Hickey (under Rule 72b and 72g), defenseman Dave MacIsaac (under Rule 43), and left wing Jon Mirasty (under Rule 72b and 72d), have been suspended indefinitely until further review.
