Erie, Pennsylvania, Monday, January 20 - The Erie BayHawks welcomed the Delaware 87ers to the Erie Insurance Arena for a Monday matinee game. The 87ers used a dominant fourth quarter to put Erie away by a final score of 124-115.

The BayHawks (6-16) controlled the first quarter, leading by as many as seven points. Ricky Davis got off to a hot start for Erie, netting nine points and four rebounds. Erie extended their lead to eleven points in the second quarter before Delaware (4-20) used a 11-3 run to tie the game with four minutes remaining in the half. The BayHawks extended their lead to five points at halftime, 55-50.

The 87ers outscored Erie 14-7 to start the third quarter and took their first lead of the game with 8:25 left in the frame. Erie battled back and held a six point advantage heading into the final stanza. Delaware used a 13-2 run during the fourth to take the lead with 8:09 left in the game. In total, the 87ers scored 47 points on 69.6% shooting in the final 12 minutes to down the BayHawks 124-115.

Justin Brownlee led Erie with 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Scott Suggs added 20 points for the BayHawks and Terence Jennings pitched in with 17 points and six rebounds. Delaware's Vander Blue paced all scorers with 35 points and six rebounds. Tiny Gallon had a monster game with 33 points and 24 rebounds, including a 17 point, 10 rebound fourth quarter.

Erie returns to action on Thursday night against the Springfield Armor at the Erie Insurance Arena. Delaware travels to Canton to face the Charge on Friday night.
