BayBears vs. Braves Suspended Due to Rain

Due to rain, Wednesday afternoon's game between the Mississippi Braves and the Mobile BayBears has been suspended in the bottom of the second with the BayBears leading the Braves 1-0. The teams are scheduled to resume the suspended game Thursday night at 5:05 PM and then play a seven-inning game following the conclusion of the suspended game.

Mobile scored a run in the bottom of the second inning when starting left-hand pitcher Tyler Skaggs hit an infield single that plated Rossmel Perez. When the game is resumed Thursday night, Mobile will be batting in the bottom of the second with one out and two runners on base at first and second. The BayBears lead 1-0.

Fans that purchased tickets to Wednesday's suspended game can use their ticket one time only for Thursday's game or any other remaining home game on the BayBears' 2012 schedule. Fans that purchased tickets Thursday scheduled game may come early and watch both games when game one resumes at 5:05 PM.
