BILOXI, Miss. - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, split a doubleheader against the Biloxi Shuckers to wrap up the six-game series Saturday night at MGM Park, winning the first game 7-1 and dropping the finale 6-0.
GAME ONE:
The BayBears jumped out to an early 6-0 lead before rain halted play for 1 hour, 52 minutes in the second inning. Following the delay, Mobile cruised to a 7-1 victory.

After grabbing an early 1-0 lead, Brendon Sanger led off the second with his second home run of the series. Following Baldoquin's bases-clearing triple, Joe Hudson drove him in with another triple to cap the scoring in a five-run frame against Cameron Roegner (0-1).
Ralston Cash (2-1) earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief.
GAME TWO:
The BayBears (61-60 overall, 24-30 second half) were held to just one hit, a Jahmai Jones single, in a 6-0 loss in the series finale.

The Shuckers scored three runs in the third and sixth. Clint Coulter had his second three-run hit of the series, clearing the bases with a double off Alex Klonowski (9-3) in the sixth to put the game out of reach.
