JACKSONVILLE, FL- After losing Friday night 6-1, the BayBears won the final two games against the Jacksonville Suns, completing the series win with Sunday's 6-0 victory. Mobile's offense scored immediately with a two-run first inning. Kennard Jones tripled, scored on Brian Burgamy's groundout, and then Corey Smith hit a solo home run, his 14th on the season. Jones led the BayBears offense with three hits.
Depending on the results of games involving Mississippi and Montgomery, the BayBears could be in third place by the end of Sunday. After an off day Monday, the BayBears will go to Montgomery for three games against the Biscuits.
