March 27, 2024 - National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)
Bay FC News Release
San Francisco - Bay FC, the new women's professional soccer franchise representing the Bay Area in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), will host the club's first home match Saturday, March 30, at PayPal Park in San Jose. Bay FC's inaugural game is sold out. Parking lots are expected to fill quickly and fans are encouraged to take BART, Caltrain, or utilize Bay FC's official rideshare partner, Lyft. If driving, travelers should expect traffic delays, especially around the start of the game at 7 p.m. PT. Fans are encouraged to give themselves an extra 30 to 45 minutes to arrive at PayPal Park. Stadium gates will open at 5 p.m. allowing access to the inaugural FanFest Area. Additionally, the first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive an inaugural pin. Below are transportation options for fans coming from anywhere in the Bay Area:
Lyft/Rideshare - For all fans who may want to travel via car but don't want to deal with the hassle of parking, Bay FC has partnered with Lyft to optimize a seamless rideshare experience. Fans arriving via Lyft will have a dedicated pick-up and drop-off location before and after Bay FC home games.
Caltrain - For San Francisco and Peninsula-based fans, Caltrain offers a short train ride from both to the Santa Clara station, offering an opportunity to interact with other Bay FC fans on their way to the stadium. Please check the weekday and weekend train schedules for service to and from the park.
Upon arrival at the Santa Clara station, head East under the pedestrian tunnel onto Brokaw Avenue and turn right on Coleman Avenue, to PayPal Park.
From Coleman Avenue it's an easy 10-15 minute walk from the station to the stadium.
Fans who would like to bring their bikes onto Caltrain may do so and park in PayPal Park's bike parking area.
BART - Fans who are travelling from the East Bay are encouraged to take the Orange and Green BART lines to the Berryessa/North San Jose BART station. Please check the BART schedule to plan your trip in advance.
Upon arrival at the Berryessa station, a complimentary shuttle will be available to PayPal Park before and after each Bay FC home match. Pre-match shuttles will start at 5 p.m. and run until 7 p.m.
To locate the shuttle pre-match, fans should cross the street to the northbound lane of Berryessa Station Way and look for the buses in marked pick-up zones.
Shuttles will drop fans off at the corner of Earthquakes Way and Coleman Avenue.
For the return trip, fans can board a shuttle on Earthquakes Way outside the stadium's main gate after the final whistle. The last shuttle will depart approximately one hour after final whistle.
On match day, fans are encouraged to check real time departures to account for any unplanned delays in the BART schedule.
Driving - Parking lots will open at 4 p.m. on Saturday with kickoff against the Houston Dash being at 7 p.m. PT. If coming via Highway 101, the advised route to avoid congestion is taking the De La Cruz Blvd. exit. This will allow fans to turn right, directly into any parking lot. Parking passes are encouraged to be purchased in advance at this link.
Bay FC will host its inaugural match against the Houston Dash this Saturday, March 30 at PayPal Park in San Jose. Tickets are sold out for Bay FC's inaugural home match, but verified resale tickets may be available on Ticketmaster.
