St. Louis Battlehawks News Release
THIS WEEK: As the XFL moves into the second half of the 10-game regular season, the St. Louis BattleHawks (3-2) stay on the road for the second straight week to visit the Tampa Bay Vipers (1-4). St. Louis is 1-2 on the road this season. The game pits the top two offenses and defenses in the league in terms of total yards/yards allowed per game.
TELEVISION: Sunday's game will be broadcast on FS2 with the announce team of Brandon Gaudin calling the play-by-play, Brady Quinn providing color analysis, and Coley Harvey reporting from the sidelines. Kickoff of this sixth game of the season for both teams is set for 4pm (CT).
LAST GAME: After winning two consecutive home games, St. Louis returned to the road and fell 15-6 at DC. The two teams combined for 403 rushing yards, the most in a single XFL game this season. The BattleHawks defense allowed only 27 passing yards as Terence Garvin racked up 16 tackles and Kenny Robinson added an interception and sack. Offensively, the BattleHawks had five drives of at least 49 yards but only came away with a pair of Taylor Russolino field goals.
