St. Louis Battlehawks News Release
The St. Louis BattleHawks (3-2) fell by a score of 15-6 this afternoon at the DC Defenders (3-2).
The two teams combined for 403 yards rushing, the most in an XFL game this season.
St. Louis quarterback Jordan Ta'amu completed 15-25 passes for 174 yards and was sacked four times. L'Damian Washington led the BattleHawk receivers with five catches for 114 yards. Matt Jones was the team's leading rusher with 70 yards on thirteen carries.
Kicker Taylor Russolino connected on a pair of field goals, but missed his first three point field goal attempt of the season (9/10).
Linebacker Terence Garvin led St. Louis with 16 tackles.
