Battle Creek Knights News Release


The Battle Creek Knights 2006 IBL regular season away schedule ends this Friday, June 30th, against inner-state rival, the Grand Rapids Flight. Tip off time is 7:15 p.m. at the Courthouse Athletic Center in Byron Center. This game will be feature five former Battle Creek Knights players. The former Knights players listed on the Flight's current roster are: Antonio Jones, Milo Stovall, Terrance Slater, David Williams, and Courtney Scott.

The Battle Creek Knights have qualified for the International Basketball League post season tournament in Elkhart, Indiana. The tournament is scheduled to take place between Thursday, July 13th, and Sunday, July 16th. Date, time, and opponent, for the Knights 06 first round playoff game is still to be determined.

Access Vision, Channel 12, on Comcast cable television, in the Battle Creek area, is scheduled to show rebroadcasts of the Knights exciting overtime victory on Friday, June 23rd, over the first place, Columbus Cyclones throughout the upcoming week. The dates and times for the rebroadcasts are as followed:

Monday, June 26th, @ 9:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 1st, @ 9:00 a.m.

Saturday, July 1st, @ 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, July 2nd, @ 4:00 p.m.
