Battle Creek Knights Name Three Players

Battle Creek, Michigan- At a press conference on Thursday, March 10th, 2005, the Battle Creek Knights announced the signings of Mike Williams, Milo Stovall, and Terrance Slater for the team's first season in the International Basketball League starting April 9th vs. the Vancouver Volcanoes at Kellogg Arena.

"I am very excited to have these three young men as members of the Battle Creek Knights. They all bring a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience to the Knights," Greg Williams, Knights head coach, stated in regard to the signings.

Mike Williams, a 6-8 forward/center, attended Detroit City High School, Schoolcraft College, and Western Michigan University. Mike was the 2004 MAC Player of the Year as a senior. Mike played with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks summer league teams in 2004. Milo Stovall, a 6-3 guard, attended Kalamazoo Central High School and Valparaiso University. Milo was a four year starter and was Mid Continent Tournament MVP as a freshman and senior at Valparaiso University between 1998-2002. Terrance Slater, a 6-4 wing/guard, attended Lincoln High School (East St. Louis, Illinois), Los Angeles Community College, and between 2001-2003 at Western Michigan University. Terrance played a season professionally during 2004 with the North Charleston Lowgators.
