Battle Creek, Michigan-The Battle Creek Knights professional basketball team begin their 2009 PBL regular season at Kellogg Arena Friday, January 2nd. Tip off time is 7:00 p.m. The doors into Kellogg Arena open up at 6:15 p.m. This is the Knights fifth season playing professional basketball in the Cereal City .
"The Knights ownership group including Scott Niecko, James King, Mike Beck, and Mike Lee, and the Knights players, coaches, and front office staff are excited for the residents in the Battle Creek area to come out and have fun this season," said David Darkey, Knights general manager.
There will be a poster schedule giveaway and a performance by Zeke the Wonder Dog and Friends on the Friday, January 2nd, Knights home opener vs. the Chicago Throw Backs.
