
Battery brings back Ian Fuller and Chris Corcoran

Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery has agreed to terms with veteran forward Ian Fuller and midfielder Chris Corcoran for the 2008 USL First Division season; both players return for a third season with the Club.
Charleston Battery head coach, Mike Anhaeuser,
"Ian Fuller is an integral part of this team and we are happy to have him back for two more years. He is the ultimate competitor and losing is not an option in his style of play and mentality. Chris brings this same approach and has been a beneficial and versatile player for the past two seasons. Combined, these two players bring a lot of experience, quality and dedication".
Ian Fuller saw action in 9 games in 2007 scoring 3 goals and adding 2 assists while splitting time between midfield and forward. Fuller's career totals with Charleston include 4 goals and 3 assists in 38 games played.
Fuller, 6-2, 170 lbs, 28 yrs, had previous stints with the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Rochester Rhinos and MLS's New England Revolution. A native of Portland, Oregon, Fuller was a four-year starter at Clemson University.
Chris Corcoran was an ever-present in the Battery line-up in 2007 starting 31 games, mostly as a wide defender. Corcoran was also used in a defensive-midfield spot and his career Charleston totals now include 52 games, with 1 assist.
Originally drafted by MLS's MetroStars in 2005 Corcoran, 5-9, 165 lbs, 24 yrs, was a stand-out at St Johns University before turning pro; he played 75 games, starting 72 times, finishing with 12 goals and 11 assists for 35 points.
A native of Weymouth MA, Corcoran was a member of the PDL Cape Cod Crusaders in 2002 and the Brooklyn Knights in 2003.
