Sounders To Play 2008 Season At Starfire Sports Complex

(Seattle, Wash.) - - On the heels of winning the 2007 USL First Division Championship, the Seattle Sounders announced today they will return to play the 2008 season at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, WA. Sounders general manager Bart Wiley said, ''The Sounders are proud to call the Starfire Sports Complex home for 2008. Our club has always had great success at Starfire and we are certain to continue our winning tradition with Starfire as the Seattle Sounders home field.''

2008 season tickets are on sale now. All seats are general admission and season tickets are priced at only $180. Season tickets for fans 18 and under are only $99. Each season ticket package purchased will include general admission tickets to the scheduled home opener at Qwest Field and 14 additional home games at Starfire Sports Complex.

For a limited time the Sounders are offering two additional benefits to season ticket purchasers. Prior to December 31st, 2007, season ticket purchasers have the option of securing season-long parking for only $75 and, in addition, will receive an equivalent number of purchased seats to the first two potential Sounders home 2008 playoff games - a savings of over $125.

This offer is in addition to Sounder season ticket holder benefits which include priority seating for U.S. Open Cup and exhibition matches plus an invitation to an exclusive pre-season party with the 2008 Seattle Sounders.

Beginning January 1, 2008, season tickets will increase to $195.

The Sounders are also offering a 6-Game Flex Package that entitles the bearer to choose six matches from the regular season schedule in which to attend. This Flex Pack is priced at $72.

Single game tickets for the 2008 season are priced at $13 if purchased in advance and $15 if purchased on the day of the match. Single game seats will go on-sale once the full season schedule has been determined.
