Matt Kang scored two of three unanswered second-period goals that powered the Battalion to a 4-2 Ontario Hockey League victory Wednesday night over the Belleville Bulls in the opener of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Championship Series.
The Troops host Game 2 on Friday night at 7:30 and tickets can be purchased online at www.battalionhockey.com, at Battalion Headquarters on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Quartermaster Retail Store on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Friday at Battalion Headquarters starting at 9:30 a.m.
