The Belleville Bulls worked overtime Thursday night to earn themselves another day.
Nick Palmieri's second goal of the game, on the power play at 18:44 of the second overtime period, lifted Belleville to a 3-2 Ontario Hockey League victory over the Brampton Battalion, staving off playoff elimination for the Bulls.
The Battalion, now leading the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Championship Series 3-2, hosts Game 6 in a quick turnaround at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Tickets for Game 6 can be purchased online at www.battalionhockey.com, and at Battalion Headquarters starting at 9 a.m. Friday.
The box office opens at 5:30 p.m. Friday, and gates and concession stands open at 6 p.m.
