Bats to Host First Round Games Wednesday and Thursday at 6:05

Louisville, KY - With yesterday's 6-3 win over Indianapolis, along with Columbus' loss in Toledo, the Bats clinched their third consecutive IL West Division Crown. They will now square off with Durham in the first round of the Governors' Cup Playoffs, starting Wednesday, September 8. It marks the third straight season that Louisville and Durham have faced each other in the first round.
The Bats will play their first round games at Louisville Slugger Field on Wednesday, September 8 and Thursday, September 9. Both games will start at 6:05 p.m.
The game on Wednesday will feature $1 hot dogs and Pepsi products. The Thursday game will feature Budweiser GameTime Happy Hour and $1 Bud and Bud Lights from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m, along with live music from Timmy & Sharfe on the Overlook Deck.

Game 1 vs. DUR - Wednesday, September 8 / 6:05 p.m. - $1 Hot Dogs and $1 Pepsi Products
Game 2 vs. DUR - Thursday, September 9 / 6:05 p.m. - Budweiser GameTime Happy Hour $1 Beer from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Games 3-5 (if necessary) will be played AT Durham on September 10, 11, 12
If the Bats advance past the first round they will face either Scranton/Wilkes-Barre or Columbus in the Governors' Cup Championship Round. The first two games of the championship series will take place on September 14 and 15 on the road, while games three through five will be played at Louisville Slugger Field on September 16, 17 and 18, if necessary.

Game 3 vs. SWB/COL - Thursday, September 16 / 6:05 p.m.
Game 4 vs. SWB/COL (if necessary) - Friday, September 17 / 7:05 p.m.
Game 5 vs. SWB/COL (if necessary) - Saturday, September 18 / 6:05 p.m.
Tickets range from $7-$11. Regular hours at the Louisville Slugger Field box office are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at ticketmaster.com, where tickets may be printed from your home computer using the TicketFast system, or you can order by phone at (800) 745-3000. Ticketmaster ticket centers are located at all Kroger locations.
