
Bats Name New Flagship Radio Station

Louisville, KY - The Louisville Bats have announced a five-year agreement with Louisville's Real Sports Radio leader, WKRD-AM 790, to be the radio home of Bats baseball for the foreseeable future.
790 WKRD will broadcast all 144 Bats regular season games, both home and road, as well as any playoff games Louisville may appear in. Programming will also include a half-hour pregame show prior to all Bats games. In addition to the 790 WKRD broadcast, Bats fans will also be able to access live broadcasts via the Bats website at www.batsbaseball.com.
"We are thrilled to add the Louisville Bats Play-by-Play coverage to our exciting roster of sports on WKRD," said Kevin Hughes, Clear Channel Market Manager. "We look forward to continuing our long and rewarding relationship with the Louisville Bats ownership and management."
Once again bringing fans all the action of Bats games in 2007 will be the broadcast team of Jim Kelch and Matt Andrews. Kelch returns for his 19th season with Louisville with 2007 being Andrews' fifth with the Bats.

Louisville will begin the 2007 campaign on Thursday, April 5 against the defending International League champion Toledo Mud Hens at 7:05 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field. Season tickets are available now by calling the Bats office at (502) 212-2287 or visiting www.batsbaseball.com on the web.
