Bats Launch New Website

Louisville, KY - The Louisville Bats along with Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) and the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues (NAPBL) are pleased to announce that they have unveiled a Bats new interactive website. The website has a new look and feel, while featuring up-to-date scores, rosters and statistics.
"We are extremely excited about our new website and joining the MiLB.com network," said Bats General Manager Dale Owens. "The new site will provide fans with an unparalleled level of access to team and player information, live multimedia, Bats merchandise and so much more."
Louisville's new website joins the MiLB.com network, which was formed this past January when MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM) and the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues (NAPBL), better know as Minor League Baseball, announced a major partnership agreement making MLBAM the exclusive provider of Internet related services and other interactive media services for the Minor Leagues. The 10-year online agreement, which began with this season, makes MLBAM exclusively responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of the official Minor League site, the websites for each of the NAPBL leagues and the websites for the NAPBL teams that elect to participate in the new website network. In addition, MLBAM has been selected as the official statistician for Minor League Baseball.
The website, while taking a new look, will continue to be found at www.batsbaseball.com. Louisville will begin the 2006 campaign with an eight game road trip beginning on April 6 in Ottawa before opening the 2006 home season April 14 versus the Lynx at 7:15 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field.
