OKLAHOMA CITY - The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets announced today that they have recalled rookie forward Brandon Bass from the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League.

"With the recent injury to David West and the injury problems with Aaron Williams, getting Brandon back will help strengthen our frontline," said Hornets General Manager Jeff Bower. "Brandon was able to show the skills that we have seen in practice in one game with the 66ers and we are excited to have him back."

Bass participated in one game with the Tulsa 66ers, recording 16 points, five rebounds and two key blocks down the stretch in 25 minutes of action in the 66ers 110-105 win over the Austin Toros last night.

Bass has appeared in 19 games with the Hornets, averaging 1.6 points and 1.7 rebounds in 7.4 minutes of action. Bass scored a career-high six points in 16 minutes at Atlanta on Nov. 18, while he grabbed a career-high six rebounds in 21 minutes at Seattle on Nov. 26.
