Duluth, MN - Jack Barrie (Northwestern Ohio) went 3-4 at the plate but St. Cloud (18-24) fell in the series finale to Duluth (29-13), 6-2. Ryan Weisenberg (Georgetown) registered the other multi-hit game for the Rox. The team combined for eleven hits.

Trailing 5-0 going into the seventh inning, St. Cloud loaded the bases with no outs following consecutive hits from Ryland Kerr (Eastern Kentucky), Barrie, and Gus Steiger (South Dakota State). RBI were then hit by Hance Smith (UC-Berkeley) and Ryan Davis (Georgetown). The two runs were the only scored in the game for the Rox.

Will Warren (Southeastern Louisiana) made the start for St. Cloud and tossed five innings. He struck out three batters and only issued three walks. Sergio Esparza (Arkansas Pine Bluff) pitched the final three innings and allowed just three hits.

St. Cloud now returns home to the Rock Pile for a two-game series against the Waterloo Bucks. Last weekend, the Rox swept the Bucks at Riverfront Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05. It is Rox Replica Jersey Night presented by Coborn's. It'll be available to the first 300 fans 14 and under.

The Rox are in their seventh season of Northwoods League Baseball in 2018. Single game and group tickets for the entire season are on sale now.
