JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Armada FC forwards Akeil Barrett and Pascal Millien were named to the North American Soccer League Team of the Week on Wednesday.

Both players were instrumental in the Armada's incredible, shorthanded 3-2 come-from-behind win over FC Edmonton last Saturday at Community First Park.

Barrett, who was also named the Farah & Farah Man of the Match, subbed on at halftime for an injured Lucas Scaglia and immediately made his presence felt by upping the pace of the game. Even after the Armada went a man down when Alhassane Keita received his second yellow card in the 51st minute and it fell behind 2-1, Barrett did not let up on the pressure.

The key turning point of momentum was in the 66th minute when Barrett was taken down inside the box, which allowed Millien to score the equalizer on a penalty kick.

Then just three minutes later, Barrett took control of a deflected Jemal Johnson shot and fired a shot past FC Edmonton goalkeeper Matt VanOekel that caromed off the far left post and into the net.

It is the first career Team of the Week of the honor for Barrett, while Millien has now been named four times.

The Armada will return to action tonight at 7:30 p.m. when it hosts Ottawa Fury FC at Community First Park in a must-win match to stay alive in The Championship race.
