Barracudas to meet Hurricane Katrina victims

Members of the Jacksonville Barracudas and the Ice Girls will be in attendance at a luncheon for students at Orange Park High School who have been displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

Barracudas' players and the Ice Girls will take part in welcoming the students to the First Coast and lift their spirits as they go through this tumultuous time. Students will have the chance to meet the players and Ice Girls, as well has have their pictures taken. The Barracudas will be handing out small gifts from the team.

The Barracudas will remain at the school after the luncheon to meet the general school population as well to build excitement for "Orange Park High Night", which will take place one December 2nd, as the Barracudas take on their interstate rival Florida Seals.

The Barracudas are preparing for a road trip which takes them to back-to-back games against the Florida Seals in Kissimmee this weekend. Their next home game is against the Pee Dee Cyclones, Tuesday, November 29th. The puck will drop at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena at 7:05pm.
