
Barracudas Sign Defenseman, Goaltender

To fill out their roster for upcoming back-to-back games against the Huntsville Havoc this week, the Jacksonville Barracudas have signed defenseman Jim Quilty and goaltender Jacob Miskovic.
The 5'11, 192-pound Quilty is in his third professional season, and has played 20 games this season with the Roanoke Valley Vipers of the Central Hockey League. He played previously for the Miami Manatees and Lakeland Loggerheads of the WHA2, and the Oklahoma City Blazers of the CHL.
Miskovic is a 6-foot, 195-pound goaltender from River Forest, Ill. He is beginning his first professional season, after completing three seasons with the Utica Pioneers of the ECAC.
The Barracudas have also added Assistant Coach Brett Strot to the lineup for tonight's game against the Havoc, and have placed forward Taras Foremsky on waivers. Strot has played the last three games with the Barracudas, scoring a goal and adding three assists.
The Barracudas are on the road until Tuesday, February 7th, which will be Credit Union Night, as they take on the Columbus Cottonmouths at home. All games are played at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, and start at 7:05pm.
