
Barracudas Re-Sign Two to the Blueline

The Jacksonville Barracudas Hockey Club have announced today that they have signed Defensemen Andrew Morris and Shane Wagner for the 2007-08 season.
Morris, 27, had a strong rookie season in 2006-07 with the Barracudas, scoring 7 goals and 22 assists for 29 points, adding 68 penalty minutes while seeing regular duty on both the power play and penalty kill. In the playoffs Morris added two assists in eight games.
Prior to turning pro, the 6'2, 225-pound Hawkestone, ON-native enjoyed a productive collegiate career at Elmira College, scoring 51 points in 98 games.
Wagner appeared in his second season with the Barracudas in 2006-07, and was a reliable member of the defensive corps.
The Stillwater, MN-native appeared in all 56 games for the Cudas, scoring three goals and adding 27 assists. In the playoffs, the six-foot, 190-rearguard made contributions at both ends of the ice, picking up four assists and a +3 rating in eight games.
Prior to turning pro, Wagner played four seasons with Hamline University.
