
Barracudas Hit the Road for Exhibition Game

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Barracudas hit the road for their first and only exhibition game of the season tomorrow as they battle there rival the Orlando Seals. Face off time is 4:25 at the Ice Den in the RDV Sportsplex in Orlando.
Last season, Orlando won 14 of the 17 meetings with Jacksonville, outscoring the Barracudas 76 to 45 while adding two shutouts. The last times these two teams met was March 14th in Orlando, a game the Seals won 4 - 3. The last time Jacksonville beat Orlando was March 1st at the old Coliseum as Jamie Miller scored twice leading the Barracudas past the Seals 5 - 2.
Fans will be admitted for a $4 donation, with the proceeds of the game going to the Hockey 4 Kids program.
The Jacksonville Barracudas start the WHA2 season off with four games on the road starting Friday, November 7th in Alabama with the Slammers. The Barracudas return home for the Home Opener Celebration in the brand new 16,000 seat Veteran's Memorial Arena on Friday, November 28th. Face off time is 7:05 and the JEDC Sports and Entertainment Council sponsor the very first sporting event ever in the new arena.
