August 9, 2006 - SPHL (SPHL)
Jacksonville Barracudas News Release

The Jacksonville Barracudas announce that they have acquired forward K.C. Caudill and defenseman Rob Miller from the Knoxville Ice Bears, which completes the March 1st, 2006 transaction that sent forward Chris Kovalcik to the Ice Bears.

The Barracudas now own the rights to the two members of the 2006 President's Cup Champions, and plan to bring them to this season's training camp in October.

"Both of these players were key members of the Ice Bears in the playoffs, and have proven the ability to excel at this level," said Head Coach Rick Allain. "We hope to sign them for training camp, and add them to our core."

Caudill is a 6'3, 210 pound forward who is also able to play defense. He has spent the last two seasons in Knoxville, scoring 44 goals and 44 assists in 112 games with the Ice Bears. Prior to turning pro, Caudill spent four seasons at Ferris State University.

Miller is a 5'10, 180 pound defenseman who has spent the past three seasons in Knoxville. In 2002-2003 he starred with the Barracudas in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League, scoring 16 goals and adding 29 assists in 60 games.
