Barons Take 2-1 Series Lead over San Antonio

Oklahoma City - Oklahoma City Barons centerman Chris VandeVelde's overtime goal last night propelled the Barons to a 2-1 series lead in their best-of-7 series with the San Antonio Rampage. After dropping the first game in Oklahoma City on May 3, the Barons have rebounded to win two straight. Both of the Barons wins have come in overtime.

After a two-day break, the teams return to game action on May 10 at 7 p.m. from the AT&T Center in San Antonio. A complete schedule is listed below:

Game 1 May 3 San Antonio 6 @ Oklahoma City 4 SA leads 1-0

Game 2 May 5 San Antonio 4 @ Oklahoma City 5 OT Series tied 1-1

Game 3 May 7 Oklahoma City 2 @ San Antonio 1 OT OKC leads 2-1

Game 4 May 10 Oklahoma City @ San Antonio 7 p.m.

*Game 5 May 11 Oklahoma City @ San Antonio 7 p.m.

*Game 6 May 13 San Antonio @ Oklahoma City 4 p.m.

*Game 7 May 15 San Antonio @ Oklahoma City 7 p.m.

* if necessary all times Central Time

Should Game 6 of the series be necessary, it will be played in Oklahoma City on May 13 at 4 p.m. Should the series require a Game 7, it would be played in Oklahoma City on May 15 at 7 p.m. Both games would be played at the Cox Convention Center.
