FLIP FLOPPING: BARONS STYLE
The Barons over the past few weeks have had their own version of the political term of flip flopping. Nick Biondo (Parma, OH) who started the season on defense has been moved back to normal position of right wing. While Barons Captain Matt Shouneyia has moved from left wing to defense. A position that he has played most of his career in the Compuware organization. Head Coach/GM Tim Alexander had this to say on the move: âWith moving Matt back on defense he has now turned into an instant threat on the blue line. I feel that Matt will be a fine Division one defenseman for next season, his speed and shot makes him a dangerous player to be reckoned with when he is on the ice."
ROAD WARRIORS
The Barons will be on the road for the next three weeks as they make their way to Toledo (Oct.7th), BGSU vs. SOO (Oct.8th), Ann Arbor ,MI USA-18 (Oct.17th) then the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN (Oct.19th-23rd).
