Barons Host Chamber's Sunset Reception

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons, in conjunction with the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, SMG and the Cox Convention Center, are hosting a Sunset Reception October 9 from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.

Members of the Barons coaching staff and players will be available during the event to talk about hockey and the upcoming season. The players will participate in a light practice with fans able to watch from right at ice level. Complimentary hors-d'oeuvres and beverages will be available in the Blue Line Club, located in the southeast corner of the Cox Convention Center. Participants will have the opportunity to try their hands at hockey with the Barons interactive Floor Hockey Caravan on display.

Parking for this event is FREE at the Courtyard by Marriott parking garage. The Courtyard by Marriott is located just south of the Cox Convention Center.

These monthly receptions give business leaders in the Oklahoma City area an opportunity to network with one another in a relaxing atmosphere. A history of the Sunset Reception can be found on the website of the OKC Chamber of Commerce.

The Barons home opener is October 19 against the San Antonio Rampage at the Cox Convention Center at 7 p.m. A variety of ticket packages are available to meet every individual or group need.
