Barons Announce Exhibition Schedule

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Barons announced today their plans for two exhibition games prior to the start of the 2005-06 AHL Regular Season, the team's fifth in Cleveland. Michael T. Lehr, President of the Barons, made the announcement.
The Barons will open their exhibition schedule against the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday, September 30th at the Welland Arena at 7:00pm in Welland, Ontario. The following night, the Barons will travel to Lansing, Michigan to battle the Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday, October 1st at 7:00pm at The Summit Ice Arena. Both the Bulldogs and Griffins are featured within the Barons North Division for the 2005-2006 regular season.
The Barons will open their 2005-06 Regular Season schedule on the National City Rink located in Gund Arena on Saturday, October 8th against the Rochester Americans at 7:05pm. Fans can secure their seat to the home opener by purchasing any Full Season, Partial Plan, or 20-Game Flex Plan package.
