Phantoms Announce Exhibition Schedule

Boardman, Ohio (Tuesday, August 23, 2005) - The Mahoning Valley Phantoms have announced their 2005-2006 pre-season schedule.
The Phantoms will host a trio of Ohio hockey teams over the Labor Day holiday weekend at The Ice Zone in Boardman. On Saturday, September 3, they will host the Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks of the Central States Hockey League (CSHL) at 3:00pm.
The Columbus Jr. Blue Jackets, also of the CSHL, will faceoff against the Phantoms on Sunday, September 4 at 3:00pm.
The weekend finale will see their North American Hockey League (NAHL) rival Cleveland Jr. Barons invade Boardman for a 7:00pm start on Monday, Labor Day evening.
Admission to all three games is free. The Phantoms season opener is Friday, September 9 when they face the U.S. National Under-18 Team in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
