Lancaster Stormers News Release
The Lancaster Barnstormers are heading back to the Atlantic League post-season looking to defend their title and bring home their fourth Atlantic League Championship.
For the second straight year, the Barnstormers have won the second half title in the North Division following tonight's win over the Staten Island Ferry Hawks.
The 'Stormers will begin their defense of the pennant against the first half champion Long Island Ducks on Tuesday, September 19 with a 6:30 game at Clipper Magazine Stadium. Game Two will be the following night in Lancaster with any necessary remaining games to be played at Long Island's Fairfield Properties Ballpark, beginning Friday, September 22.
Should Lancaster win the best-of-five series against Long Island, the Barnstormers would host the South champion (either High Point or Gastonia) at Clipper Magazine Stadium on September 26 and 27. Any remaining games would be played in North Carolina beginning on Friday, September 29.
