"Bark in the Ballpark" Returns to the Epicenter on Wednesday, July 1st

Rancho Cucamonga, CA- The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are excited to welcome "man's best friend" to The Epicenter to enjoy America's National Pastime with "Bark In The Ballpark," on Wednesday, July 1st. Wednesday night is also "Weenie Wednesday" presented by KFRG 95.1FM. Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs all night long. The Quakes will take on the High Desert Mavericks, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM. Gates will open at 6:05 P.M. Pet passes are available for $3 and seating will be available for dogs in designated Club, Café, and Field Box sections on the first-base side of the ballpark. Tickets for people in those sections are priced at $8-$10. Proceeds from the pet passes will benefit the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care & Adoption Center. Tickets may be ordered in advance, or the day of the game by calling the Quakes Ticket Office at (909) 481-5252. During the game, special contests will take place that will highlight the dogs, and the Quakes will set up canine-friendly water and treat stations in the ballpark to cater to our four-legged friends. All owners will be required to sign a waiver prior to entering The Epicenter and are responsible for any "mess" made by their furry friends. All pets must be well-behaved and leashed. The night is the first of three planned "Bark in the Ballpark" nights for 2009. The second night will be on Tuesday, July 21st, while the final installment will take place on Tuesday, August 11th. The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are the California League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. For information about ticket packages and group information, please call the Quakes at (909) 481-5000.Â
