Tampa Yankees News Release

The Tampa Yankees and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay will be hosting their sixth annual Bark at the Ballpark on Saturday, June 30th.

Dog owners are invited to bring their K-9 friends to George M. Steinbrenner Field to enjoy a pre-game dog fair featuring local pet vendors, a pet costume contest, and much more. Gates will open for the dog fair at 4:30 PM, and the Tampa Yankees will face off against the Brevard County Manatees at 6:00 PM.

Bark at the Ballpark is sponsored by Fuzzie Buddies Boarding and Grooming Facility and The New Barker magazine.

Tickets are $4 for general admission and $6 for reserved seating and can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Box Office. All dogs must have a ticket ($4.00) and have valid county tags and current vaccinations in order to enter the stadium. All dog ticket proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

Every Saturday is Friends and Family Night sponsored by Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. The package includes: 4 reserved tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 chips, 4 sodas, 4 grey Tampa Yankees caps and 1 FREE Lowry Park Zoo ticket for only $38. Kids will have the chance to run the bases from 5-5:15 PM and players will be signing autographs on the concourse from 5:10-5:30 PM. There will also be a bounce house and face painter on site, as well as other activities for kids. Please note that dogs may not be included in the purchase of a Family 4-Pack as their tickets need to be purchased separately in order to benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
