
Bandits Trade Castillo for Draft Pick

ROSEMONT, Ill. - The Chicago Bandits announced today they have traded catcher Kaylyn Castillo to the Dallas Charge in exchange for a fourth round draft pick in the 2016 NPF College Draft.
Originally acquired in a trade with the Akron Racers prior to the 2014 NPF season, Castillo batted .169 last season with a .229 on-base percentage. Behind the plate, she finished with 105 putouts, second best among Bandits catchers in 2014.
Fans will have their first chance to see Castillo back in Rosemont when the Charge make their inaugural appearance at The Ballpark at Rosemont for a three game series beginning Sunday, June 21.
The Bandits home opener is set for Thursday, June 4 when the Bandits host the Akron Racers at The Ballpark at Rosemont. Single-game tickets for all 2015 home games, including the home opener, will go on sale Monday, February 16 at 10 a.m. CT.
