Bandits Tie for First
June 23, 2014 - Lone Star Football League (LSFL)
San Angelo Bandits News Release
This past weekend the San Angelo Bandits were victorious on the road against the Amarillo Venom (74-59). This bumped Amarillo out of the playoff race and put New Mexico in the third seed position. It put your San Angelo Bandits in a tie for first place with Rio Grande Valley Sol confirming Joe Brannen's prediction of "Worst to First".
Once again your San Angelo Bandits, led by Luke Collis, got a well earned victory. Luke ended the night with 9 touchdown passes and 359 yards. This puts Luke firmly in the position of best Quarterback in the League even though it is his rookie year in Indoor Football.
The Bandits will host the NM Stars in a playoff game on July 5th at Foster Communication Coliseum on SITEL Field. The gates open at 5:00PM with a 6:05PM kickoff. Immediately after the game Bleu Edmonson will be performing on the field. This means for the price of a play off ticket you also get a great country concert. Only with your San Angelo BANDITS.
