
Bandits Sweep Traverse City

St. Louis Bandits News Release
St. Louis Missouri, February 18th - The Bandits swept the 2-game series over the weekend against the Traverse City North Stars with a 5-2 win. The powerplay helped St.Louis to start the game off strong as Nic Polaski scored just 32 seconds into the game. Derek Danowski followed with his own powerplay goal to end the first period. Harrison Niemann netted Traverse City's only 2 goals in the second period with both assists coming from Ben Plocar. Jeff Dimmen answered back with a late second period goal to put the Bandits up 3-2. Ben Warda and Derek Danowski each added a goal in the third to finish off the scoring. Shane Madolora stopped 15 of 17 shots to capture the win.
St. Louis continues to lead the South Division with 75 points. The Bandits will face the Wichita Falls Wildcats next Saturday at 1 PM and Sunday at 6 PM at the Summit Center in Chesterield. For group or single game tickets contact the Bandits' front office at 636-536-4882.
