
Bandits Sign de Snoo to Two-Year Deal

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed defenseman Mitch de Snoo to a two-year deal.
The four-year veteran scored five goals, a new career high, and recorded nine assists in 17 regular-season games, which tied him for ninth in scoring among all NLL defensemen. His 131 loose balls recovered last season set a new career high and ranked second on the Bandits and 13th in the NLL. de Snoo (6'2", 220 lbs., 10/22/1992) also played in all four postseason games, tallying the first playoff point of his career (assist), and picking up 28 loose balls. His 28 loose balls recovered set a new postseason career high and ranked second on the Bandits and fourth in the NLL for the playoffs.
The Oshawa, Ontario native was acquired in a trade from Calgary prior to the 2016 season after the Roughnecks selected him in the second round (13th overall) in the 2015 NLL Entry Draft. He has amassed 52 points (12+40) in 67 games played in his career and has ranked second on the team in loose balls recovered in each of the last three seasons. de Snoo played four years of collegiate lacrosse at Drexel University in Philadelphia prior to his professional career.
