
Bandits Go Back-To-Back with Road Game against Riptide

The Buffalo Bandits wrap up a back-to-back set tonight when they take on the New York Riptide at 7:30 p.m. at Nassau Veterans Coliseum.
Th game will air on MSGSN Western NY in Buffalo as well as ESPN+. Fans can also listen in on 1520 AM.
Last night, the Bandits used a strong second half to propel them to a 13-9 victory over the Philadelphia Wings. Josh Byrne, who recorded five points (1+4), leads the league in points (50) and goals (25). Dhane Smith finished with Friday's game with nine points (2+7) and now has 50 points and a league-leading 40 assists on the season.
Tehoka Nanticoka scored three goals for his fourth hat trick of the season.
Matt Vinc, who has played every game for Buffalo so far, made 45 saves.
Buffalo is 5-2 and sits in second place in the East to undefeated Rochester.
The Riptide, meanwhile, are 1-4 and are coming off their first victory of the season. Last weekend, they defeated the Albany FireWolves 16-10 in their first road game this year. They're 0-4 at home.
Jeff Teat tops their team leaderboard in goals (13), assists (24) and points (37).
Buffalo will return home next weekend to take on Rochester at KeyBank Center for Native American Heritage Night. Tickets for February 4's game are on sale now.
