Sioux City Bandits News Release
SIOUX CITY, Iowa - 29 minutes and 55 seconds into the Sioux City Bandits contest against the Salina Liberty, finally, there were points put on the board in terms of a Liberty field goal.
But after that, the Liberty took advantage of two Bandits' misplays on kick returns and turned those into 7 points. On top of two circus catches from the Salina wide receivers in this game that also ended up as touchdowns.
The Bandits pulled within 9 points by the end of the 4th quarter, but they just couldn't finish the comeback this time.
Sioux City has already clinched a playoff spot, they will face Billings next week.
