
Bandits defeat Mammoth 12-11

Buffalo Bandits News Release
The Buffalo Bandits defeated the Colorado Mammoth Saturday night by a score of 12-11. The win now moves Buffalo to 8-5 on the season.
Mark Steenhuis led the Bandits in scoring with six points (3+3). Steenhuis also posted a game high 11 shots. Roger Vyse lit the lamp twice for the Bandit and tallied two assists on the night. In his first game back since injury, Kevin Dostie scored twice for Buffalo and also added an assist. Cory Bomberry and Delby Powless each scored once and posted three assists. John Tavares had four assists on the night. The newest member to the Bandits roster, Mike Accursi added a goal for Buffalo. Chris White also lit the lamp for the Bandits with a short-handed goal.
Kyle Laverty led Buffalo with 6 penalty minutes in the game.
Mike Thompson made 45 saves in his first complete game since January 26. The net minder allowed 11 goals off 56 shots on goal.
The Bandits will next square off with the Rochester Knighthawks at the Blue Cross Arena on Sat., April 12. Game time is scheduled for 7:35 p.m.
Buffalo's next home game will be Saturday, April 19 against the Chicago Shamrox. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $19 to $29.
