San Angelo Bandits News Release
Bandits lock in a Playoff game with a nail biting win over Rio Grande Valley (74-71) at RGV's house. Your Bandits never let up , with six seconds left on the game clock Luke Collis threw a 36 yard touch pass to his favorite outlet Johnny Thomas to win the game. With only seconds left on the clock, Rio Grande's Nate Davis throws up a Hail Mary but Damarcus James (#2) comes out of nowhere to intercept the pass and end the game. This prevented RGV from locking up home field advantage for the up-coming playoffs.
This puts the Bandits in position to host a playoff game on July 5th provided Amarillo lose any of their remaining three games. So, your San Angelo Bandits went from the worst team in the 2013 season (1-11) to a contender for the Championship in 2014. Led by Joe Brannen head coach.
So with one away game left in the season it's time to start planning for a long July 5th weekend and support your San Angelo Bandits Professional Indoor Football Team.
