Bandits Announce Pre-Game Party

BUFFALO, N.Y. (May 14, 2008) - The Buffalo Bandits will face off against the Portland Lumberjax at HSBC Arena on Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 PM in the 2008 Edge NLL Championship Game sponsored by HSBC Bank, Verizon, Labatt USA, Supercuts and The Seneca Gaming Corporation.

The Bandits will be hosting a pre-game party that will begin at 6:00p.m. at HSBC Arena on the 100 level east wing. There will be a live performance by "Fully Clothed Gents" (a Barenaked Ladies cover band) from 6-7:15 p.m. The pre-game party will be hosted by Bandits MC, Bull. Bull will be talking to fans, asking trivia questions, and handing out prizes. The Bandettes will be available for autographs, pictures and a special performance. There also be special guest appearances.

All fans of Banditland are encouraged to wear Orange to the game and will be given orange pom-poms upon entering the arena to create an "Orange Frenzy" atmosphere.

The game will be broadcast on WGR Radio 550 AM. They will also air a 30-minute pre-game show beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The National Lacrosse League also announced on Monday that ESPN2 and ESPN360 will telecast the Edge 2008 NLL Championship Game. The game will air live on ESPN360 on Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on tape delay on ESPN2 on Tuesday, May 20 at 2 p.m.

Fans should also be advised to plan accordingly for traffic and parking due to the Buffalo Bisons baseball game at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday.

Individual tickets for the Championship game are on sale now. Ticket prices are $31 (100 Lvl III & 300 Lvls I/II), $33 (100 Lvl II), and $41 (100 Preferred & 200 Club). Tickets can be purchased at the HSBC Arena Box Office and all tickets.com outlets, including participating Tops Markets. Tickets are also available on line at www.bandits.com.
