Buffalo Bandits News Release
BUFFALO, NY (January 23, 2013) --- The Buffalo Bandits today announced the release of the team's official mobile application across the iPhone and Android platforms. The free app - which can be downloaded now on iTunes, the Android Market and Google Play- includes a wide range of features designed to keep fans connected to the team through their mobile devices.
"We know that Bandits fans are extremely passionate about their team and are always looking for ways to extend their Bandits experience beyond the games," said Bandits Manager of Digital Media Scott Miner. "This app was designed with the fan in mind and we know it's going to enhance their experience with the team."
The app, developed by the Bandits Digital Media Department and supported by the Shoutem mobile platform, includes nine separate sections, with each one featuring a multitude of functions.
Sections of the app will give fans an easier way to access the team schedule, purchase tickets and take advantage of special promotions for tickets, food and merchandise while attending games. Roster sections will offer the 2013 active roster list for the Bandits and the Bandits' official dance team, the Bandettes.
Fans will also be able to keep connected to the team through three social media sections. The Bandits' official Twitter feed, @NLLBandits, its YouTube channel and its Flickr galleries will all be easily accessed through the app.
