
Bandits Acquire Lintner, Brown from Knighthawks

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has acquired forward Dan Lintner, defenseman Frank Brown and a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NLL Entry Draft from the Rochester Knighthawks in exchange for forwards Dallas Bridle and Thomas Hoggarth and a second- and third-round pick in the 2020 NLL Entry Draft.
Lintner (5'9", 185 lbs., 9/15/1992) has played in all nine games for the Knighthawks this season, ranking sixth on the team in scoring with 17 points (5+12). The fifth-year NLL pro is currently on pace to finish the season with a new career high in assists (24). Lintner has appeared in 62 regular-season games over the course of his career with the Knighthawks (2019-20) and the Toronto Rock (2016 to 2018-19), totaling 124 points (67+57) and picking up 203 loose balls. He has played in five postseason games, all with the Rock, scoring three goals and adding three assists.
The Courtice, Ontario native played four seasons (2011, 2013 to 2015) of collegiate lacrosse at Cornell University, recording 96 points (88+8) in 51 games with the Big Red. He set career highs in goals (47), assists (5) and points (52) in 2014 en route to earning Second-Team All-Ivy honors.
Brown (6'3", 190 lbs., 11/23/1993) has scored one goal in three games for the Knighthawks this season. He has totaled 20 points (8+12) and recovered 75 loose balls in 27 regular-season games, setting career highs in games played (14), goals (6), points (12) and loose balls (36) during the 2018-19 season while playing with the Philadelphia Wings. Brown, who originally hails from Salamanca, New York, won a silver medal with the Iroquois Nationals at the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship.
